Learn a skill

Find training that leads to work you can do here.

A skill is worth learning when someone near you will pay for it, or when it helps you build something of your own. Certificates help, but proof of real work helps more.

Who this is for

Students choosing what to study next, people who want to change trade, and anyone who wants a practical skill they can use in Nepal.

First steps

  1. Write down what you already do well and what you enjoy.
  2. Pick one skill you can see people paying for around you.
  3. Start with short, practical training before a long course.
  4. Practise on a real task and keep proof of what you made.
  5. Join an SNS Youth Skill Exchange session to learn from peers.
